Welcome to the Student Services Department at North Polk School District!
We are committed to providing a wide range of programs and services to support the diverse needs of our students. Here's an overview of our work:

School Improvement: We focus on enhancing the overall school experience and educational outcomes for all students.

English as a Second Language (ESL): We provide support to students learning English as a second language to ensure they have the resources they need to succeed academically.

Homeless Youth: We offer assistance and resources to homeless students to ensure they have access to education and support.

Home Schooling: Our team can help guide and support families who choose to homeschool their children.

Special Education: We are dedicated to providing free and appropriate educational opportunities for students with disabilities, following public health guidelines.

504 Plans: We assist students in need of academic and physical accommodations, with tailored support and meeting protocols for both onsite and remote learning options.

At-Risk: We offer additional support and resources to students who may be academically behind their grade-level peers, helping them achieve their full potential.

Counseling Program: Our school counselors provide valuable in-school and out-of-school resources to support students' emotional and psychological well-being.

Health Services: We prioritize the health and well-being of our students, ensuring they have access to the necessary healthcare resources.

Social-Emotional Mental Health and Behavior: We provide resources and support to address social-emotional and behavioral needs, working closely with the Heartland Area Education Agency.

Seal of Biliteracy: Our program recognizes and celebrates students' bilingual achievements.
