The Scholastic Book Fair is coming!March 5-10, 2020Located in the library!
It is time for the 3rd Annual PTA Reading Challenge Fundraiser! Last year, the Reading Challenge raised over $3,500 and helped purchase books for the Central teachers' classroom libraries. Each teacher who contacted PTA received $175 to help build classroom libraries.
Our goal this year is to raise additional funds to help further improve classroom libraries for each room in the building. We need your help in order to do this. Pre-K and Kindergarten classes are included in this fundraiser, which really added to total donations last year! Forms will go home with students on Thursday, Feb. 20th.

We will end the performance with all of the bands playing together as a mass band of over 420 students. We look forward to a great performance showcasing our talented musicians.
To meet the growing needs of our students, the North Polk Board of Education is calling for a special election to be held on March 3, 2020 for the sale of up to $15 million in general obligation bonds. Funds generated from the passage of the bond referendum would help to alleviate capacity issues district buildings are facing due to rapid growth in student enrollment. Voter approval would allow the district to construct an upper elementary building and an academic addition to the existing high school. Taxes will not be increased by the construction of these projects; the district is simply seeking a continuation of the current debt service tax. Please click here for more information.
