    REGISTRATION FOR 2020-2021

We are needing all North Polk families to register their students for the next school year (2020-2021). Registration is important for many reasons, but primarily because it provides an opportunity to review and update household information each year. In the event of an emergency, it's important to have accurate contact information and medical records on file. For students in grades 7-12 that participate in extra-curricular activities, the process fulfills Heads Up Concussion requirements and includes Code of Conduct information required for participation.

With that said, we need all families to register! You can do this online by logging into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Once you're logged in, select the "More" button in the bottom left, then scroll down to "Online Registration" and select "Click here to go to Existing Student Registration." For those of you with students entering NP for the first time, you will have the opportunity to add additional students to your household's existing account in the student section. Please help us achieve 100% registration for returning families this year!

With questions or help logging into your Parent Portal, please contact Lynette Foster at lynette.foster@northpolk.org

SKIP THE TRIP DRIVER KNOWLEDGE TEST

Due to the school closure, Skip the Trip Driver Knowledge Testing at NPMS is now closed until the 2020-2021 school year. The Iowa DOT is now allowing parents and guardians to proctor the driver knowledge test from their home.  To apply to take the test at home, the student must be at least 14 years old and younger than 18.  For more information and to submit an application click here. After the application has been submitted, both the student and the proctor will receive an email with an exam code and the link to the driver knowledge test; this needs to be taken within 72 hours. To prepare for a successful knowledge test, students should study the Iowa Driver’s Manual and online practice test, both available at: https://iowadot.gov/mvd/driverslicense/manuals-and-practice-tests If you have any questions please contact amanda.hupp@northpolk.org
