Is there an Infinite Campus Mobile App?
Yes!
1. Go to the APP store on your phone.
2. Search for Campus Parent:
3. Select/Get Campus Parent
4. Open Campus Parent once it is loaded
5. Log in.
**For the first time you will need to type NOR for the first three letters of our District, then Iowa. And then Search District and select North Polk as shown below.
How to Receive Notifications on Low Lunch Balance, Attendance Changes or Grades?
To receive attendance or grade updates on your phone, follow these instructions in your parent portal.
1. Make sure the Campus Parent app is downloaded on your phone
2. Log into the Campus Parent app
3. Click the person icon in the top right corner
4. Click Settings, then Notification Settings
5. Click all of the boxes you want notifications sent to you
6. Click the Save Button
Make sure in your Phone Settings, under Notifications, you have set the Parent app to Allow Notifications.
How do I edit contact preferences?
Contact Preference Settings
1. Log into your Campus Parent portal.
2. Click the person icon in the top right.
3. Then Choose Settings.
4. Then choose Contact Preferences.
5. Check and make sure all of your phone numbers and emails are correct. If not, change them here.
6. Then scroll down to the Message Preferences boxes.
7. Check both your phone notifications as well as your email notifications.
8. Go through and make sure the boxes are checked for Teacher, General and Emergency. Check any others you would like to receive notifications on.
9. Select SAVE.
Pay School/Lunch/Optional Fees
Paying School Fees

Log in to your parent portal.

Navigate to Fees by clicking the three horizontal lines on the left-hand side.

To pay specific fees, select "Add to Cart" next to the fees you wish to pay.

You can also include Optional Fees by clicking the credit card icon beside the shopping cart icon. If needed, click the credit card icon, choose Optional Payments, and then add the optional fee by selecting "Add to Cart."

Proceed to your Cart (or use the shopping cart icon).

If you haven't set up a payment method, click "Add Payment Method" and complete the required information. Don't forget to click the blue "Save" button at the bottom.

Once your payment method is saved, click the blue "SUBMIT PAYMENT" button.
Paying Lunch Fees

Access your parent portal and select "Food Service" on the left-hand side.

To add funds, click the blue "PAY" button.

Enter the desired amount in the box displaying "$0.00" and click the blue "ADD TO CART" button.

Head to your Cart (or use the shopping cart icon).

Choose your saved payment method or click "Add Payment Method" if you haven't set one up. If you've added your payment method, remember to save it.

Finally, click the "SUBMIT PAYMENT" button.
Optional Payments (Examples Include Senior Trip, All Sport Pass, etc.)

Log in to your parent portal and click on "Fees" on the left-hand side.

Select "My Account" (which also resembles a credit card) located in the top right corner.

From there, choose "Optional Payments."

Pick the specific Optional Payment you wish to make and click "Add to Cart."

Complete the payment process to finalize your payment.
Note: For optimal performance, please use Chrome, Safari, or Firefox as your web browser if your screen experiences spinning or freezing issues.

How to find transportation routes?
How to Access Your Child's Bus Route on Infinite Campus:

Log in to Your Infinite Campus Account: Start by logging in to your Infinite Campus account.

Navigate to the Menu: Once logged in, navigate to the menu options.

Click More in the bottom left hand side.

Access "Transportation": Look for the "Transportation" or similar option in the menu

View Bus Route: Click on "Transportation" to access your child's bus route and all relevant information.

View Other Child's Route (if applicable): If you have multiple children registered in your household, you can easily view another child's bus route. Navigate to the appropriate section or dropdown to select the child whose route you want to see.
Important Information:

If you registered for the 2023-2024 school year and requested busing, transportation route information should be available on Infinite Campus.

Any necessary route changes will be made and posted in Infinite Campus before the first day of school, once routes are confirmed.

How do I find High School transcripts?
Finding High School Transcripts on the Family Portal
1. Log into your family portal.
2. Select the three horizontal lines in the top left corner to get the drop-down menu.
3. Scroll down to Documents on the left-hand side.
4. It will take you to a new screen with multiple options. Find HS Transcript-Weighted and select it.
**Make sure you are searching for the correct child when looking at high school transcripts. You can change the child you are looking for by selecting the drop-down arrow from the picture of the child you are currently on. A drop-down of your other children will be there to choose from and select.
How do I find report cards?
**You can view past report cards by changing the school year.
High School Report Cards:

Log in to your parent portal.

Click on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner to reveal a drop-down menu.

Scroll down to find "Documents" on the left-hand side, then select it.

Select "HS Report Card-Semester 1 Final" for Semester 1 grades, or select "HS Report Card-Semester 2 Final" for Semester 2 grades.
Middle School Report Cards:

Log in to your parent portal.

Click on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner to reveal a drop-down menu.

Scroll down and locate "Documents" on the left-hand side, then select it.

There are three Terms in the Middle School. Select the correct term to review. (start of school until middle of Nov), Term 2 (middle of Nov to Feb), and Term 3 (Feb to last day of school).
Elementary Student Report Cards:

Log in to your parent portal.

Click on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner to reveal a drop-down menu.

Scroll down and locate "Documents" on the left-hand side, then select it.

Elementary students have three terms for reporting: Term 1 (start of school until middle of Nov), Term 2 (middle of Nov to Feb), and Term 3 (Feb to last day of school).

Depending on the current term and your student's grade, choose the appropriate report card. For example, if you have a 3rd grader and want to see the end of Term 1 grades, select "Report Card-Trimester 1 (KG-3)."
Note: Grades for each semester or term will only appear on the report cards once they have all been posted. For example, Semester 1 grades will typically be available around the middle of January (High School), and Term 1 grades will be available at the end of each term (Elementary and Middle School).
How to find current/in progress grades?
Log into your parent portal.
2. Select the three horizontal lines in the top left to get to the drop down menu.
3. Find and select Grades on the left hand side.
4. Within grades you can change your student to view another child's current grades by selecting the arrow next to child you are in now.
*For middle school and high school you can get more specific grades by class work, assessments, assignments, etc. by selecting the arrow to the right of the in progress grade.
How do change my address/ add busing?
You cannot change your address in the Parent Portal. Follow the steps below to add/change.
Option 1 - Adding Busing (No Address Change):
- Step 1: Complete the Transportation Request Form.
- Step 2: For questions or assistance, contact Marcy Hanigan, our Director of Transportation.
Option 2 - Moving or Change of Address within North Polk District:
- Step 1: Print and complete the change of address application.
- Step 2: Gather proof of address change (e.g., Polk County assessor web page, signed copy of closing documents, or signed rental agreement, utility bill).
- Step 3: Submit your change of address and proof to Lynette Foster at lynette.foster@northpolk.org.
- Step 4: If you need busing changed due to moving, complete the form in Option 1 above.
Option 3 - Moving Outside North Polk District (No Busing Provided):
Please note that we do not provide busing services to those who open enroll and live outside the North Polk District.
- Step 1: Complete the open enrollment application.
- Step 2: Send the completed application to Lynette Foster at lynette.foster@northpolk.org.
