Important: Preschool placement is not first come, first served. When applications exceed available space, placement is determined through a lottery process.
Important Registration Dates
Registration will take place in two phases and is open during the following timeframes. The application link is available on this page throughout each period.
In-District Registration:
January 15 – March 27
Out-of-District Registration:
February 1 – March 27

Preschool Program Details
Our preschool program provides a nurturing environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth. Below are the key details:
Age Requirement

Children must be 4 years old on or before September 15, 2026, to enroll in the 4-year-old preschool program.

Children who turn 5 on or before September 15, 2026, should enroll in Kindergarten.
Sessions

Morning: 7:50 AM - 10:50 AM

Afternoon: 11:50 AM - 2:50 PM

Session preferences are considered, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
Preschool Days

Classes are held on 4 of the 5 weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Locations

Preschool is offered at West Elementary and Central Elementary, with the same schedule at both locations.
Transportation

Transportation within the district is provided for in-district preschool students.

A $150 per-semester fee applies for students using midday transportation.

Students who have specialized transportation included in their IEP

Home Visits
- Before the school year begins, each child enrolled in the 4-year-old preschool program will receive a home visit from their teacher. This visit provides families and children with an opportunity to meet the teacher, share important information about your child, and help make the transition to preschool a smooth and welcoming experience.
