As we wrap up the first semester and approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to express my warmest thanks to all of our North Polk families and community members Your continued support and partnership with our teachers and staff have played a vital role in creating a strong foundation for our students' growth and success. Together, we’ve fostered an environment where every student has the opportunity to learn and thrive, and we are truly grateful for your involvement and encouragement.

To our newest Comets, we hope you have had an enjoyable and successful first semester with the district, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.

As a reminder, this year’s winter break will be Friday, December 20, 2024 – Wednesday, January 1, 2025. We will welcome back all our students and staff for the start of the next semester and new year on Thursday, January 2, 2025. 

As we head into the winter break, we hope you enjoy this special time with your loved ones and return in the new year refreshed and ready for the second half of the school year. We are grateful for your partnership in making North Polk a great place for our students to learn and grow.
