Congratulations to Stockton Huether, a senior at NPHS, for being named a 2025 National Merit Scholarship Finalist! This prestigious recognition places him among the top academic performers in the country. To reach this stage, students must score in the top 1% of all PSAT/NMSQT test-takers in their state, earning recognition as one of the top academic performers in the nation.

Being recognized as a finalist is a significant achievement for Huether, who is now competing for over $28 million in scholarships. Approximately half of all finalists are expected to earn the Merit Scholar® title, with scholarship winners to be announced later in the summer.

In addition to academics, Stockton is actively involved in extracurricular activities. This accomplishment reflects not only dedication to his studies and academics but also a drive for excellence across all facets.
