The North Polk Career & Technical Education Center is Open

As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of North Polk FFA, North Polk has officially opened the doors to the new North Polk Career & Technical Education Center, a major step forward for the district, made possible by the support of the 2023 bond referendum.

This 20,000-square-foot addition to North Polk High School expands opportunities for both Career & Technical Education (CTE) and general education. On the main level, students now have access to a state-of-the-art metals lab with 12 welding booths (a significant upgrade from our former single mobile unit), a new woods lab, a fully-equipped makerspace, and dedicated classrooms for construction, design, welding, and agriculture.

Constructed with 41 precast panels, nearly 10,000 concrete blocks, and over 22,500 hours of labor, this facility represents a major investment in our students' futures.
