Welcome Two NPXC Coaches to Comet Nation!

After 25 years of dedicated service, North Polk Cross Country coach, Steve Leach, is retiring. This change will bring a new look to the XC program. Starting next fall, we're thrilled to announce that we'll have dedicated coaches for both boys and girls in the NPXC program. As interest in the program continues to grow, so do our rosters on both the girls' and boys' sides. 

We are thrilled to introduce our two new cross-country coaches at NPHS for the upcoming fall season. Please join us in welcoming Coach Shawgo, joining us from AC/GC, who will be taking over on the boys' side, and Coach Groff, currently a teacher at NPHS, will be leading the girls' program. Additionally, Coach Colin Shawgo will be a valuable addition to our teaching staff, taking on the role of ELP/Tag Teacher for grades 7-12.

Both coaches come to us with a wealth of experience and we are eager to see the positive impact they will have and where they can take the program. Welcome to Comet Nation.
