Superintendent's Welcome

On behalf of the North Polk Board of Education, staff, and students, it is my privilege to welcome you to the North Polk Community School District. We hope you find our website helpful in your search for information about our district, schools, and programs.

Our district represents the communities of Alleman, Elkhart, Polk City, Sheldahl, and northern portions of Ankeny. North Polk is a strong school system with dedicated staff, a highly engaged student body, and a school community that takes great pride in our students, schools, and activities. 

At our core, we believe in learning for all by learning from all. Our staff is committed to developing a community of lifelong learners, problem solvers, and responsible individuals by providing high-quality educational programs in a safe and supportive environment.
