School Board Elections:
Passionate about our school district? Consider running for the 2023 school board elections in the North Polk Community School District. Strong leadership is vital to representing our schools, community, and students, ensuring a bright future for public education across the state.
This year, two seats are open for election on November 7, 2023. School board members serve four-year terms.
Nomination forms can be obtained at the NPCSD Administration Office at 13930 NE 6th Street in Alleman. Completed forms must be submitted by 5 pm on September 21, 2023. North Polk CSD's school board directors are elected district-wide and receive no compensation for their role. Each director serves a four-year term.
Who can Run?: Candidates must be eligible voters in the school district, which means being a U.S. citizen, an Iowa resident, and at least 18 years old. If eligible, obtain your nomination petition and candidacy affidavit from the School Board Secretary at the North Polk District Office, 13930 NE 6th Street, Alleman, IA, 50007.
Important Election Dates:
