REGISTRATION FOR 2019-2020- Please let us be the first building to get 100%!

We are needing all North Polk families to register their students for the next school year (2019-20). Registration is important for many reasons, but primarily because it provides an opportunity to review and update household information each year. In the event of an emergency, it's important to have accurate contact information and medical records on file. For students in grades 7-12 that participate in extra-curricular activities, the process fulfills Heads Up Concussion requirements and includes Code of Conduct information required for participation.
With that said, we need all families to register! You can do this online by logging into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Once you're logged in, select the "More" button in the bottom left, then scroll down to "Online Registration" and select "Click here to go to Existing Student Registration." For those of you with students entering NP for the first time, you will have the opportunity to add additional students to your household's existing account. Please help us achieve 100% registration for returning families this year!
With questions or help logging into your Parent Portal, please contact Lynette Foster at lynette.foster@northpolk.org
    Thank you!

*Thank you to all those that donated to the Silly String fundraiser.  We blew by our goal of 900 cans and reached 1107 cans!  This will provide support for our school that would not be possible without generous donations.  Mrs. Mills will take a pie to the face to celebrate our successful school year. Thanks again for all your support this 2018-2019 school year!

*Thank you to Prairie Meadows for their generous grant award of $10,000 that we put toward smart projectors in classrooms.

*Congratulations to Carolyn Steffen who won the PTA $500 scholarship!  It was this comment on Carolyn’s application that helped the committee make their final decision: “When I was attending West Elementary, the five pillars of character were always promoted & encouraged.  West taught me to put others’ needs before my own.” That wrapped it up for Carolyn!

The library is missing 3 books. Please keep your eyes open at home and school for them. The titles are:
